Yuko became an announcer at NHK in 1973 for the program"NHK NEWS WIDE" "THE OHAYOU JOURNAL".
She flourished as an on TV and radio-broadcasting Personality.
After retiring from NHK in 2010 she went to work on making full-address reading activities as her life's work. She has established the KARUIZAWA READING CENTER in Karuizawa and is currently the curator of the center.
